Thanks FewMiles. You've done a great job and a gerat service for all of us.

My thanks as well.
By the way, a couple of the fare codes I sent you never made it onto the site:
I - group fare in Business Class
W, K - Air/sea fare (i.e. take a cruise somewhere and fly back) -- not sure if this accrues miles.
It's been a little while since I've visited your site last but I looked at it again today and it is always a wealth of information. I am a loyal AA flyer and know tons of info. on AA but the details you've compiled must be the greatest source of AA info ever put together. Thanks, fewmiles.
FewMiles - Thank you for taking the time to build, update and maintain this site. You've done a good job!
(It's too bad that the information isn't available on AA's own site.)
3500+ hits so far (more than 1000/month). Thanks to everyone for visiting!
Here's the latest updates (2001/02/02):
updated news with links to latest discussions on VIP2s, challenges
a new page discussing upgrading
Enjoy!

oneworld comparison chart 2001: coming soon
Does anyone have a copy of the letter mailed by Mike Gunn in 1985 or so, immediately after AA rescinded its plan to increase mileage levels for Hawaii travel? In the letter, he specifically stated that you have his guarantee that any future changes to the AAdvantage program will not apply to miles that one has already earned. This letter would be helpful for anyone trying to redeem old mileage awards on a capacity-free basis (the old program awards were capacity free!)
FewMiles,
Many have said it, but great job and great site! It's better than many offical company sites out there. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif
Ah, so this is why people who have old, non-expiring miles can use them with the old "Regular Awards" chart.
If anyone has a copy of the letter, could they send me a scan or photocopy? I can post a scan if it's of interest to people.

Thanks, FewMiles, for serving as the "official" webmaster of our "unofficial" guide! Good on you!
great job Fewmiles, thank you very much
Just want to drop a few words to thank you Fewmiles.
Future DFW flyer, Al
FewMiles:
Thank you for the absolutely indispensable website. It's what you humbly call "unofficial", but to me, it's the "official" reference to AAdvantage.
Thanks to you I made it to Gold the conventional way just a few months after joining the Program. In 3 weeks' time I will fly to Europe and be so much closer to Platinum.
ThAAnks A Lot.

Flew every one of those 25,000 Q-miles and onto 50,000!
I might was well jump on this too, Fewmiles.
Your site is so helpful. I continue to learn new things from it that help me earn additional miles and really leverage the benefits of being Gold. And this year thanks to your information on the challenges-- I'm Platinum!!!
Keep up the good work. It is really appreciated.
FewMiles, yet another AA FF thanks you for creating this great site!!!
