I am amazed how many people think it is just a bolt in job. You have nowhere near the knowledge to do something like this.What and where are you going to get to do this? You can use a motor hooked up to a battery. Current models run on 300 to 600 Volts dc. How are you going to control and generate that?
Of course you could convert it to electric although you have to know what you are doing. This sort of thing is getting to be more popular and I have seen it done on other vehicles. How will the Real Hybrid Mileage Database calculate the MPG for ::

OKthe car could run on water but it would need a secondary fuel source in order to electrolyze .. Thats what i dont like about straight electric cars.

Yes, but it would be VERY expensive. Some one converted an old muscle car into an electric car with a big electric motor, and a bunch of car batteries hooked together. It only goes about 40 miles and needs to be charged for a long time after.
