You have several years to formulate an answer to yourself. How important is pay? You're definately able to commit to the long term required for anything medical, you're starting the decision making process @5 years in advance. You must realize medical school will take 4 years after your bachelors' degree, and vet school is even longer.(You'll have to study many more types of animals.) With little patience, neither would suit you very well, but it would be worse as a vet, the patients can't tell you their symptoms. Medical ethics, single vendor relationship::
