I need an alternative educational model that will meet the needs of
students who are socially promoted into the ninth grade. The model
should include scheduling samples and a curriculum to meet graduation
requirements using non-traditional activities and a non-threatening
environment. Cost factors support the model would be most helpful.
Hello counselor1-ga:
I have asked Google Answers to withdraw my answer, meaning you won't
be charged for my answer, and the question has now been re-opened to
other researchers.
I'm sorry for any misunderstanding. I thought you were searching for
ideas -- starting points -- for an alternative curriculum. Actually, I
did search for detailed models, but wasn't able to find any.
I was hoping that the print articles I referenced for you would be
more detailed. (Unfortunately, most alternative education resources on
the Web are geared toward home schooling and private alternative
schools, not toward on-campus, alternative programs housed within
public secondary schools.)
You may want to pull this question, re-word it, and post it as a new
question. If so, be sure to note that you're seeking a detailed
outline for a curriculum that will work at your school, under your
given parameters.
Regarding your concerns: you NEVER have to pay for any answer you find
unsatisfactory. All you have to do is post an RFC and ask the
researcher to please pull the answer. That way you won't be charged
the fee, and the question will be "re-opened," meaning another
researcher can tackle your question.
I hope one of my colleagues is able to assist you.
Best of luck with this endeavor.
