I would like to know the popularity of a few web languages in terms of
how many people actually use them. I specifically want head counts for
each, but general statistics are great too. The languages I need
numbers on are:
- HTML (Yes, I know it's not a real language but I still want numbers)
- Javascript
- PHP
- ASP
- JSP

language usage.
I thought that in order to measure a programming languages popularity
you would have to find out how many people were perhaps using search
engines to use that language.
