Please any advise would be great. I'm debating on the decision!
yes..how much varies on the location, your tolerance and how good the artist is.as far is near bones being the most painful thats bs.i have several and the most painful for me was inside the upperarm where its the fleshiest.the least painful was on the ankle MySpace.com Blogs - Metal Mrs. MySpace Blog:: They are just words after all I am not sure why they hurt so Waited a long time is an understated understatement, but who else can save rock? http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=133831360HOME |
usually 2 weeks
yes...just be sure to follow the aftercare instructions
I'm sorry to say this, but tattoos aren't worth the pain. If the tattoo artist doesn't take precautions before using his/her needle on you, you may develop a disease. You can never be sure that they properly clean their needles. Also, by the time you get a little older, you will hate the tattoo you have gotten, and will force yourself to pay for a tattoo removal service...sorry.
The pain varies with location and tolerance. Both tattoos on my shoulders had a dull sting and hurt more as the guy worked towards the backs of my arms. Lower back and feet are painful from what I'm told. Wherever the skin is thin or bones are involved, it will hurt more. Of course, tolerance is a factor, too. My friend at college has a half-sleeve from his elbow to shoulder, and he SAYS it didn't hurt at all. Not sure if I believe that, but that's not important now. As far as healing time, it's subjective. Location may affect that. Both of mine took a week or two to heal. As long as you keep on using Vaseline or lotion on it, it should heal up in no time.
As far as sports, it should be ok. Again, location may affect performance, but I don't think you'll have a problem.
Hope this helps and have fun!
Yes, they do hurt, some places worse than others. You are essentially getting poked repeatedly with a needle, after all. And, depending on where you get the tat and how big it is, you should be able to still play sports (no swimming, though). Just keep it bandaged. tattoos hurt of course, but how much depends on your personal "zone" or your pain tolerance. it's a good kind of hurt for me, i actually enjoy it, it relieves so much stress for me. Healing time? within a couple days it shouldn't be extremely tender, I wouldn't change up any of my normal routine, other than swimming for a couple of weeks, just because I got a tat.
it will hurt depending where you want it. on the shoulder is relatively painless. on lower back, near bones, and other sensitive area, it will hurt like hell. and yes you can play sports anytime.
it depends on wher you get them. for example if you get it where you have a lot of fat then it wont hurt that much. if you get it where you have no fat or very little fat it will hurt like REALLY bad
they heal in 2 weeks i think
and u might be able to play sports if ur not in too much pain
do u know how u get tattos? First, they ram a needle in u, and start putting ink in you. they do this in every location u want ink. i mean, they have 2 poke u w/ it multiple times. probably not worth it, bcuz tattos look kinda bad on grls, and when u get old, itll b all wrinkled.
I have one on my back between my shoulder blades (not much between muscle and skin) and it feels like a bee sting. Shading feels a little different; like someone taking a sharp edge of plastic and combing your skin. I can say that I do not regret it in the least and I have had mine over a year. I love to wear things that show it and I get a lot of compliments. The worst part is the itching when it is healing. Like the others said, use the lotion after you take the cover off. As long as the place is clean, you should be safe. You can watch them take the needle out of the wrapper if you want so you know it is clean. As long as it depicts something you will always have a strong connection to, you will not regret getting it like someone else said. In my opinion, it does hurt but it is worth it.
it hurts to some people but it didnt hurt me and im 18 and they say after its done all u have to do is keep if covered for 1-3 hours and them put lotion on it and ull be fine after that and u wont feel anything!
