I wanted to dive into some older picture navigation related issues.
I am afraid to say that some issues pop up now and then while roaming my pics, BlackBerry® Cell Phones/Smartphones - Blackberry Pearl, Curve :: All with the same great messaging - email, IM, text, picture and web browsing . But don’t think the BlackBerry smartphones are all work and no play! http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phones/blackberry.jspHOME |
but capturing it (debug log) and making it reproducible is tougher.
One of them is reproducible:
When I select a picture (so no slideshow), the pic is shown... of course.
Normally when selecting then the next pic is shown... OK still
But now do this: select a pic, zoom in (eg 2 steps) and back out.
Then select and nothing will happen any more.
No , no and also no zooming any more. It is though possible to select and you will get back into MyPictures;
xbmc does not crash, it gets 'confused' ;) when having done that zooming.
I have the debug log here:
xbmc_zoom.log (http://www.fam-overman.nl/xbmc_zoom.log)
In here I:
- select pic using controller
- zoom in (up)
- zoom in (up)
- zoom out (down)
- zoom out (down)
- to get to next pic
but that does not happen: will not get to see next pic
in the log pic 1651 is indicated, but I do not see it
BTW, it does not matter whether the remote or the controller is used.
There is another issue still in xbmc since quite some time (> year) and is
also reported previously in this thread and discussed with JM: 18142 (http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18142)
but there it was not pursued further. And I have not yet been able to
capture it, but I did ran into it a couple of times last week. So nothing here,
but hearsay for now, but I will try to get it.
Thanks,
-F
Update: just found that XBMC is not stuck, but awefully slow in loading the next
picture. The same picture that normally takes a couple of secs to load, with the
zooming in between, then takes some 3 minutes:
xbmc_zoom2.log (http://www.fam-overman.nl/xbmc_zoom2.log)
Note that my pictures are some 2 MB (4 MPixel camera)
Fixed: see other thread:
