I have a tattoo on my back and on the back of my neck and plan to get one on the top of each foot. The feet just look like it would be painful. So has anyone ever gotten any on their feet? How was it?
I actually just got a tattoo on my foot a week ago today. I also have a tattoo on the small of my back. The one on my foot hurt more for sure. But it wasn't a pain that was so horrible that I flinched or anything like that.
If you want the tattoo bad enough, the few minutes of pain is totally worth it. I love my tattoo so much already!
well of the 5 tattoos i have the foot was the worst pain wise.
before that it was the back of my shoulder.
mine is from my big toe across my foot and around my ankle.
some parts didn't hurt. other parts, esp the top, hurt like the dickens.
my nerves and muscles where spasming and jerking my leg and foot all over the place.

as much as i tried to control it i looked like a fish flopping out of water lol
worst part is now i have to get it redone in a few wks bcse the color didn't take in all places and some detail was missed.
and i want to add a lil to it to make it look more complete
The foot and ankle are really painful. It is like when the needle went over your vertebrae on your lower back...tears swell. But, it hasn't stopped me from getting three on my feet. :) If you already have two, why be scared of a small pain which always goes away? Oh Fer Cryin Out Loud Flowers, Tattoos and Dogs::
daughter was told getting a tattoo wouldnt really hurt on the top of your foot. not mention that it is going to hurt worse when she goes to get it colored in

It is really painful because the skin is thinner and there is usually no fat or muscle. Just nerves and tendons.
i have two tattoos first one on the top of my foot second on the inside of my wrist i cant really say if its gonna hurt for you or not cause i dont feel pain like normal people .... its odd but good at the same time the one on my inner wrist didnt hurt at all and my foot hurt in one spot between two of my lil bones is the only spot that hurt cause he was making a line in between the bones and it made my foot twitch but thats it good luck an think hard about what you want and yeah someone said you do need to get touch ups often VERY true ive had my tattoo for 2 yrs and have to get touched up about every 6 months or so kinda sucks but i love my tattoo
I have 7 tattoos. One is on my foot. It was by far the most painful one that I have gotten... and it will have to be recolored more times than a normal one seems it is on my foot and color doesnt last as long there.
They say that ribs and feet are the most painful.
I dont recommend for a first tattoo ever

my aunt and my cousin got tattoos on their feet. they hurt
well it hurt less then on your neck but it hurts because there isnt meat there just skin and bomes
I don't have any on my feet, but I know a lot of people who do. They've said it is quite painful, especially because touch-ups are pretty much a guarantee. The ink doesn't stay well in feet, so you often have to get the artist to go over the whole thing a few times before the ink takes properly.
I just got my tattoo on my foot yesterday on the top of my foor to the side a bit and all I want to say IT HURT LIKE HELL. I got several starts and OMG I wanted to cry. It is not my first tattoo the first one is behind my ear which did not hurt at all but this one SHeesssshhh. Just prepare yourself Report Abuse
