I had a tattoo done on my lower back and it did hurt but not unbareably. I want one done on the back of my neck. I want my intitial with a small flower or something. Does it really hurt that much?
my girlfriend got a tattoo on her neck, it's fairly big, i suppose.
she said it just felt like her younger sister scratching her, kinda hard..
I got a rose with alot of shading on the back of my neck and I didn't think it hurt at all....
I have a small tat on the middle of my back also and didn't think it hurt either...
so no it doesn't hurt or I have a freakishly high pain tolerance
no
I just got a tattoo of script going down the back of my neck to the middle of my back.
It didn't hurt at all.
Probably the least painful of all 5 of my tattoos.
P.S. I also have one on my lower back and it hurt MUCH more than the one on the back of my neck. Where should I get my tattoo?:: 43 posts - 26 authorsMy advice on tattoos is: don't get them unless you know they're really what The back of your shoulder would be my #2 place, but you'd have to realize http://surveycentral.org/survey/23773.htmlHOME |
I agree with everything starbucks said, to the letter and number of tattoos.
The tatt on the back of MY neck hurt like hell.
The degree of pain that you will fell depends on two mayor factors. #1 there pain comes from the needles going over your nerves endings that's why there is more painful in some areas than other, there is going to be areas in your body more sensitive than others due to these. #2 Is your MIND if you put in your mind that is going to be a paint full experience it will be far more worse. Also the artist touch. I have been tattooing for several years now and one complement that i received several times is that my tattoos hurt far less than prior ones done by other artist. You need to be as relaxed as possible, and in a way that's part of the artist job to make fell comfortable as possible, hope you have a good experience and receive a good piece of art.
If it's a small flower, then don't expect much pain.
I got my entire side done.
Ribs, I have to say, hurt the most.
Tattoo's in general hurt. The back of the neck is not as bad as your lower back, sides, or worse your inner arm which hurts the most.
Something the size you describe shouldn't be too bad, and quick.
I have a full back piece and the lower back part was way more painful than my neck. The neck did not bother me too bad. The part that kinda bugged me was my jaw was vibrating a little so I had to chew gum to take my mind off of it. If you lived through a lower back tattoo you should be just fine with the neck. Good luck and take care!
I got a pretty large tattoo just at the base of my neck a couple years ago. It really depends on how big it is going to be. Mine hurt pretty bad when he got over to my shoulder bone and my spine, but if yours is going to be small i wouldnt expect it to hurt that bad.
