it is often common for your hair to shed. when you have thick hair or curly ( which i have both ) your hair may shed more than normal. Nothing is wrong when your hair sheds it also may be due to your shampoo or how dry your hair is.
even the sports you do - I'm a swimmer and the chlorine causes my hair to shed CONSTANTLY.

No. My hair never sheds and I would never wish for it to, and gladly, when I'm really old it is highly unlikely that I will shed because it isn't really in my genes.
