For anyone with more than one tattoo, please tell me the locations of all of your tattoos and which one was the most painful.
I do realize that pain tolerance is different for everyone, I just want to see if there is a common location that is most hurtful.
inside bottom lip
no
Lip
Chest
Wrist
Hip
The lip hurt the least, the chest hurt the most.
Inside my arm close to the armpit hurt the worst for me.
I heard the ribs hurt alot os well.
back of my ankle...the rest didnt hurt at all (13) but that one made me cry for tequila!
Labia
inner thigh (i have no tattoos. but one of my friends has tons. we talked about his for like 5 hours)
I have lots of tattoos and oddly enough the one on my toe hurt the worst. Next after that would be the inner wrist tattoos. OUCH!!!
mid stomach and chest near nipple ouch.
My largest tattoo goes from my shoulder, down past my shoulder blade, over my spine and back down along my ribs. It hurt the most right over the shoulder blade, and surprisingly hurt the LEAST over my spine. Exactly the opposite of what I thought! To me, the itching while it heals is way more uncomfortable than the tattoo being done.
Ankle, top of foot, back of neck and lower back. The lower back hurt the most for me.
Foot and chest.
Both sucked but chest was worse. Although that might have been just because it was for a much longer period of time.
Inside leg, just above the ankle... but that might be cause I had been in the chair for 3 hours when he started on that one.
Upper arm, upper back, outside lower leg(from knee to ankle), just above ankle and, upper thigh. The one on the ankle was the most painful. It felt like my skin was burning. Course, she did A LOT of shading so..that's what did it for me. My upper arm hurt the least. In fact, I asked the guy if he had started it yet. He had half the outline done when I asked...lol
Most common is the inside of the thigh and wrists............personally is the base of the neck
I have a tattoo on my lower back, my ribs, my foot and my butt.... out of all of these the ribs hurt the most because of all the bones there
I have 2 fish on my shoulderblade--that was more painful that the other 7 I got.
I have one on my ankle, 2 on my lower back, one on the back of my neck and I'm getting 2 more this weekend!
i have a full backpiece and a tattoo on top of each of my feet. the feet were the most painful as a whole but have taken much less time than my back. the spine is also considerably painful, excruciating actually.
outer arm
inner forearm
around one ankle
back tat from top of the shoulder to the base of the spine
neck, right under one ear
right on the crease of an inner arm
sternum
belly
the ones that hurt worse are in this order
-ankle. took 2 sessions of about 2 hours each. it is the only tat i have that i had to take a break from because i could not sit still through the pain.
-sternum. one 4 hour session. artist took one break while on the sternum because i was having troubles with my distraction techniques. oddly enough, this one healed the easiest though.
-inner arm, on the crease of the elbow. this one hurt, but the worse was the healing. every time i bent my arm it hurt for over a week.
other than that, no problem. the neck was sensitive, but not terribly difficult. there are of course some spots on my back that were easier than others, but none of them were impossible. the belly was the one place i just felt pressure, almost didnt notice the needle at all. lol, all the fat there i think.
good luck
My hip was the worst. I'd rather get another tat across my spine than to get another one on my hip haha
sorry for writing to you like this, but it wont let me e-mail you.
first of all, dont worry about new orleans. hurricane season is from june-november, and seeing that youre not going anytime near then, hurricanes shouldnt be a problem.
costa maya is similar to cozumel, but there isnt much to do, because it is just a small island. all there is are some shops, a couple of pools, and a restaurant. theres also another little area farther back that you have to get to by cab, but i never went there. they also have some good music blasting poolside. overall, its a pretty good place for a family.
when you get off at cozumel, youre in the middle of a, sort of, busy city. there are many, many shops to visit, if you like walking a long while down the streets. you could rent a car or catch a cab, versus all of the walking. there are also some good restaurants like carlos and charlies and panchos backyard. another great place is margaritaville. if you want to do something more adventurous like snorkeling, scuba diving, or swimming with dolphins, get in a taxi and go to the sea life park vallarta. but then again, youve been to cozumel before, so you probably know most of this.
for the actual ship, i really enjoyed it. as a matter of fact, i actually liked being on the ship better than getting off at mexico. but maybe thats just because my friend and i went crazy and had fun. either way, there are many activities for all ages you could do. theres a pool, hot tubs, miniature golf, ping pong, a jogging track, a spa, bars, lounges, an art gallery, a casino, night shows, night clubs, photo places, a buffet, dining rooms, and several places where you can walk out on the deck and feel the wind in your hair. my personal favorite place to do this is at the very top. make sure you are at the front of the ship, and take an elevator, or the stairs, up the furthest you can go, and youll reach the sports deck. go outside the door and up the stairs and you will see the bow of the ship and a small miniature golfing area. if you walk out towards the bow, be careful, its extremely windy. you might not want to wear a dress, or anything that might fly up, if you visit this place. believe me, personal experience. [:
after all, i had the most fun i had ever had on this cruise. i had no problems that i can recall. the staff is very friendly, especially at dinner. my favorite place would have to be just on the ship. to be exact, the promenade deck. this is where many of the activities take place. i also loved being out on the decks with the wind; its just very relaxing. for cozumel, my favorite place would be the sea life park vallarta. if you havent been there previously, you definitely should check it out.
well, i hope you have an awesome time! please feel free to e-mail me back about anything, id love to tell you about anything you were curious about. [:
I have 3 tattoos. 2 on my arm & one on my finger. The smallest one which is the finger hurt the worst. Don't know if the guy knew what he was doing or what but I never felt pain like that before. What made it worse is that it had to be re-done
