I just wanted to seek advice on how to prevent my new Honda CBR125R from stalling frequently when I re-engage the clutch at a stop. I don't mind so much if I'm riding on the back roads with no traffic but it's really annoying in the city at a stop light going to re engage the clutch only to have the engine die and I'm stuck holding up traffic.
Well there will be no carb adjustment, this is a fuel injected bike. I'd do a couple things, make sure you are in first gear. If while decelerating you try to tap all the way down from first gear from fifth gear without ever releasing the clutch you may find that it jams in 3rd or 2nd on the way down. On a sequential shift trans, you need to pull in clutch shift 5-4 release clutch, clutch in 4-3 clutch out clutch in 3-2 out in 2-1. You can get away with doing a couple gears even at a time and sometimes all the way from 5-1 but you will get caught sometimes.

If you are in first and still stalling it on launch try a bit more throttle and release the clutch a bit slower, just practice where is the friction zone.

If the motor dies when clutch is engaged and put in gear, either the idle is too low, or the clutch needs to be adjusted so that the clutch is fully dis-engaged. Additionally the fuel mixture is either too lean or rich, which could just be a simple screw adjustment at the carby, or a change of pilot jet.
