okay i picked up my coat and i thought my camera was in the pocket but it wasnt and fell on the cement and its silver and it scratched up the whole camera like theres scratches on the metal around the lens and on the corners and its only the SECOND day i had it! and my mom is REALLY REALLY MAD AT ME! and i feeel so bad...i cant stop thinking about it! just please help Peeping Tom By; Itch Doctor Tom leaned forward to the binoculars ::

It's a lesson learned. It could have been worse. It could have been a very expensive camera--or a car. So like I said, it's truly a lesson learned.

With computer-aided design and new technology, that's not true anymore. Mine is customized to keep the camera at ISO 200, but kick in at 1/30. enough (up to an ISO limit you set) to help keep your shutter speed at 1/30. I worry that it'll get scratched easily. Good thing Nikon included the lens hood.

ya know i have that same problem with my ps2 disks they are always getting scratched up i have tryed every thing from tooth past to bananas but i have found that if you go to your local walmart get the baby wipes all the scratches come off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and real sorry about the incident
try patching up the scratches with silver nail polish... they will still show, but this will cover them up more and make them more discrete... it worked on my laptop! :)
Accidents happen and there is nothing you can do about it , like a brand new car the first scratch is always the worst, tell your Mom to get over it ,
