I just bought component cables because I wanted to output HDTV in some form to my projector. My problem I have is I no longer have access to the Xbox control menu, I lost all xbox original files a long time ago, so I can only boot into XBMC. I remember the default xbox control panel having a option to enable HDTV.

I have a 65 RPTV and use it with 1080i from sat box and 480p from DVD player component cables and couldnt see a difference with 480p and 720p signals.
