im going to the jonas brothers concert on july 11th, 2008. and my daughter really wanted back stage passes but i have no idea where to get them. so please help
Well as you know backstage passes are very tough to get. But here are a few tips to help you. You have to be willing to do lots of research and be willing to work hard to get these passes.
First of all, they do not just go around selling passes like tickets. They also do not just give out dozens and dozens, usually only 2 or 3 passes, sometimes no passes are given out per concert. You cannot find them on Ticketmaster or wherever they sell tickets; most likely. You basicly have to 'make' passes. This does not mean cut out cardboard and write Backstage Pass on it. If only that worked right ? Well, anyways you have to 'make' your pass using connections or the internet.

Connections-
My dad is working with me to get passes for myself. Luckily my grandmother works for the mayor and my dad knows the venue owners. I hope it succeeds. But it's people like that who can help you get them. Depending on the venue, you want to ask friends,parents ect if they know managers, band, crew, venue owner, bus help, security, tour manager, band manager, band staff, city/state government; anything of that sort really. Once you've found your connection and have gotten permision to get the pass they will then 'make' your pass and have it ready at the ticket office.
Online- Also you can find some online at websites such as craigslist and ebay. These will be availabe for very high prices, but I imagine they will be worth it. But beware of fake,used, or expired passes. They ARE out there. If you have found a pass, you should contact the owner by phone, email, or ask for a photograph of the pass before you purchase.
The Boys- Ive heard many stories that if you run into the boys pre-concert that they are very polite and will give you tickets and backstage/V.I.P Passes. So try to find the hotel theyre staying at and they may just give you the passes. They're very nice boys and will most likely give you access.
Radio/Contests-
This is your second best bet. Try seeing if your local radiostation is holding a calling contest, T-shirt contest ect. If you get a chance to enter, try your best ! Also some web-sites like jonasbrothersfanclub.com will have a meet and greet contest coming up. Remember- try your best with these!
Passes- The passes usually include attendence to the soundcheck party, meet and greet, and backstage access through the entire show. This all depends on time and the correct venue.

This week Team Jonas (jonasbrothersfanclub.com) will be hosting a contest for the upcoming Burnin' Up tour. you have to be a member to enter, but that's the official meet and greet contest for now. aside from that, radio station is the best bet

Your local radio station often will run contests and such where you can get backstage passes. I know a few months ago my friend went to a concert, and beforehand she entered a contest with our local station, where if she won the passes she would get a text message at the show. Well, she won, and she was so excited. I also hear a lot on the radio about a T-shirt contest - either design your own or wear a special one that the radio station designates, and if they see you with it on, they take you to the first row and also backstage. haha. im trying to figure out the same thing. contests are the best bet but they are so hard to win. you can also meet them at meet and greats before or after shows.

ok this worked for me at Tim McGraw. Do you know which radio stations are covering it? Make a poster saying how much you love that radio station and teh Jonas Brothers. And just be really excitied to be there and when you get to the concert a radio station should be there thats where the poster helps. Becuase the radio station will have the back stage passes, to give away.If that doesnt work try to get to the tour bus. I meet Daughtry at there tour bus and got pictures with them. So try that if all else fails just look for signs that say no trespassing. If you dont see any you are good to go They cant arrest you or anything they can only ask you to leave. try calling theri manager, or call the venues head director. your gonna have to fork over a lot of money. but, it probably worth it. my mom is getting me back stage passes. Im paying 4 mine, and shes paying 4 her.
