Just need to know if anyone experienced their baby having Whooping cough even after they were vaccinated and how did you know he/she had it? What were the signs that made you call the doctor and what exactly did the cough sound like? My 5 month old has had a cough for a couple weeks now. Its a really phlemy productive cough and she occasionally gasps in between the coughing spells when its happening. Yesterday she started to get a low grade fever and same with today. When I try and look stuff on the interent about a cough in babies, everything is comming up Whooping cough, but shes been vaccinated.

It sounds like croup. With as young as your baby is I think I'd take them to a walk in or immediate care center, assuming your doctor's not there today.
