Independent Order of Odd Fellow (IOOF):: Official site for the social organization that strives to improve and elevate the character of man. http://www.ioof.orgHOME | I'm short, pretty damn skinny, weighing 97 lbs.
I really want a couple of tattoos, all fairly small. At the MOST around just a couple of inches x few inches.
But ... I want them on my:
wrist
back shoulder [blade]
knuckles
upper back
ankle
I'm also not very tolerable with pain. Not very good with shots, cuts, or blood.
Will it hurt? Will it bleed?
I really want a lot of input, please!
It depends on your tolerance for pain. The areas you picked can be painful- I've found that the closer to bone the tattoo is, the more it hurts. Your size shouldn't matter. Depending on the tattoo and your blood, you might not bleed that much- I hardly ever bleed. You might want to consider not getting a tattoo if you can't handle pain with needles and blood.
If you decided to get one, make sure you eat something and drink some juice before you get it, otherwise, you might faint. Good luck!
I don't think size has anything to do with it. If your pain tolerance is poor, then yes, it will hurt.
it will sting and yes you will bleed a little
Bleed...yes
Hurt...it depends on your threshold of pain and where you get in done IBO | International Bowhunting Organization - To promote, encourage and :: The International Bowhunting Organization was created in 1984 to promote, encourage, and foster the sport of bowhunting; further bowhunter education; and help http://www.ibo.netHOME | IO Restaurant Lahaina Maui Hawaii:: Fresh new Pacific Cuisine. wrist ~ yes
shoulder blade ~ no
knuckles ~ yes
upperback ~ yes
ankle ~ yes
Think of it this way too. If you live alone and you have it in an area you can't reach. How are you going to clean it?
From what else I've read about your questions, I'd recommend you leave it. Get a henna tattoo.
To be frank, you sound kind of like a wuss. Tats are for people who can take the pain....
Not you?
Sorry...
umm.. duh!!!!!! it doesnt matter how small you are... a needle is going in and out of your skin... so yea..
They are going to hurt anywhere you put them, but they aren't too bad. The outline hurts the worst, most artists these days are pretty fast. Places like the underside of your arm, back near your spine, hips can be a little more painful. My artist told me anywhere your ticklesh will hurt the most. I have three one lower middle back, right shoulder blade, and my upper right arm. One on my lower back over my spine hurt the worst. After getting one the others shouldn't hurt as much. Its more annoying than anything. Women are more tolerable to pain then men. Hope this helps, good luck :)
yes they hurt but not for long. I have a high tolerance...talk with the artist and get a test run.
It only bleeds during the process.
Well I have two tattoos. It depends on where you get them as to whether it will bleed or not. My first one didn't hurt much at all. The first few minutes hurt a decent amount, but it kind of toned down. In fact there were moments where it tickled but I didn't bleed at all. My second bled quite a bit and hurt the whole time. One think you should ask the artist to do is do a test line with just water. That way if you can't take the pain you can back out without any permanent consequenses.
yes it will hurt.and bleed.
but the pain is addicting....
I had one on my wrist and it didn't hurt a bit.
It only bled a little bit.
The pain is usually subconscious because you expect it to hurt.
Also the noise of the equipment can be a little off putting.
Try a small one first and use numbing cream if it feels more comfortable.
Believe me the soft skin on the inside of your arms below your hands doesn't hurt.
the ankle one will definitely hurt. back tats tend to hurt a lot as well. wrist and knuckles shouldn't be too bad.
as far as bleeding, you may or may not.
