I have some discomfort using IR remote. I feel repeat problem and it disturb me when i choose movie to watch - often i press button a time but xbox react it as twice, cansel operation and hang.
I tested to change parameter in advincedsettings.xml to 1000 (1 sec) but nothing happened
PLS help.
i set 1000ms and there is no changing

I'm using an original Microsoft DVD Kit and have the same problem. The remote control acts twice a few times, ending in no reaction any more. The gamepad still works then.

I have found that holding an IR remote too close to the calculator during had no problems for over a week since I debugged the routines in the IR directory. This version uses a 2-nibble repeat count. ;requires a string in stack

The problem firstly occured, when I updated to a CVS version in the end of December. :sad:

Try a value larger than 480 milliseconds to see what happens.
I solved my problem by simply changing the batteries of the remote control :rolleyes2:
