It may feel sweet at the moment you do it, but remember karma always comes around. Doesn't matter if you feel your actions are justified or not...they will come back around on you.
So if you are okay with accepting the repercussions from any revenge or act of vengence, then go ahead. Personally, I prefer to let their karma take care of it for me, and I try to find my satisfaction in that idea.

Sure, I could tell you what the "right" thing to do would be, but you already know what it is. Ill bet most of the people who answer this question will air on the side of "being the bigger person" Well, not me. Revenge is always sweet. Everyone on here knows that there is great satisfaction in getting back at someone who did you wrong. But, you cant always get revenge on every single person. No, there are times when Revenge is very sweet. Everyone should try and take the high road and be the bigger person but damn, once in a while the other guy needs to feel the sting of payback. Allow me to explain a recent major payback.
A good friend of mine contacted me and was in the dumps, he had discovered his wife was sleeping around and didn't know how to confront her. He wanted to work things through and felt that he was somehow to blame, that perhaps he wasn't fulfilling her needs. He asked me for my advice and help in winning her back.
First off I was pretty pissed that he was being such a wuss about it and doubly mad at the B**** for treating him like that.
I contacted a friend of mine who was a county sheriff and she agreed to help me do a little pay back.

In my experience thinking about revenge has been sweet but actually doing it hasn't. I've only ever got revenge once or twice in my life adn it made me feel guilty more than anything else. These days I still think of all the things I might like to do but leave it at that and walk away. That way I know myself that I could have had revenge if I had wanted to and nobody had to be hurt or affected by it. It's much better to just walk away.
Oh, it is definitely sweet. I just found out my girlfriend of 3 years was cheating on me with one of my best friends. I threw together a quick site with some "compromising" pictures of her and it is quickly spreading around the web. And yes it does feel good.
