I got this put in about 3 weeks ago, I have read on the web some people having periods non stop with it. I have been bleeding ever since it was inserted. Sometimes it fades and its light. I had the same the Dr was going to prescribe me hormones to stop the bleeding or urge me to stay on the combined pill as well concurrently to stop this side effects but I was honestly so fed up with it, I asked for its removal. Drs are there to assist you and oversee it after fitting and any problems as you see, they can be sorted, don't wait like I did and get fed right up, go and speak to the Dr again. I have heard many women say that while on the Mirena they have had low to no sex drive and had some bleeding. I would talk to your doctor about this and see
