  • There are lots of ideas here but the tank eventually is yours. I think two yellow tangs and go from there. Perhaps 2 allardi or clarkii clowns (not just the same old clown fish) a peppermit shrimp, a few snails and perhaps a hermit. Maybe a little later, a goby or even a fire angel.

    Check out saltwaterfish.com.

You can add your tank specs and look thru lists of fish w/pictures. If your fish are not compatable or need a larger tank it will tell you so. It is a great way to learn about salt fish and compatablility. This also works as far as inverts and coral goes. What an experienced keeper would suggest and one that is inexperienced would be two different things.)

An active non agressive tank would include active fish not hiders or shy fish.

  • reef or non-reef?

luckly most of the typical "peaceful" fish are reef safe...

    something like:
    2- firefish
    1- royal gramma
    1- pair of occelarus clownfish
    1- pearly jawfish
    3- bangaii cardinalfish
and a fairy or flasher wrasse

would be fine, as well as completely reef safe.. you could maybe get 1-2 more smaller fish if you anted to.. but remember it's another mouth to feed and butt to clean up after..
