I have a good mind to stop using yahoo answers. I think anytime you post a question or opinion publicly, you should keep in mind that it is open to anyone to read. Not everyone is going to be nice ... and sometimes a little criticism can be good for you.

Try and keep an open mind. Let people voice their opinions, and if possible try and find advice in their comments. Some people have good intentions, but their comments come across as negative or blunt and to the point.
Don't give up on yahoo, if you feel you could really benefit from the advice of others, then keep posting your questions. Some people have nothing better to do than try and make everyone else as miserable as them, but not everyone is mean. Some people, like me, really do like helping others, if they can. So try and be optimistic. Read both the good and bad comments because sometimes the bad comment can be just as helpful. Good Luck!!
