I have just written a question, which was sort of political and I just hit the post button and its not there ! I tried searching for it and it disappeared but IM PRETTY SURE I have posted it...Did the yahoo people delete it on purpose ? Am I in trouble ?

There is a question prefilter, but even with that it will appear in your profile. Check your activity tab. If there is not a 5 point deduction for the question, you probably did not post it. Just repost it. If it was violated, it might takes several hours to get the e-mail.

Sometimes they just don't post. Wait 30 minutes and repost if you have no answers.
When Yahoo did the Nov 18th "update" over 10,000 questions from July and August, 2008 suddenly appeared. People had been complaining that they could not find their question. They were advised to click on Refresh or not to use the % sign in their questions; as if they had done something wrong. Well, they had done nothing wrong. The questions truly had disappeared. When they showed up they went directly to the last page of Active Questions since they were dated 4 months ago. Weird... That has been happening again recently. Click on Forum at the left side of the Home Page and you will see you are not the only one.
